Alice Russell goes back to her gospel roots for the visual of Heartbreaker 2.

Alice’s producer/guitarist could not shoot the video for “Heartbreaker 2” with her so she opted for her God-given instrument – her voice, and teamed up with the Archange Gospel choir. They met up at a vacant church to capture the musical bliss.

“Heartbreaker 2” is from her latest album To Dust.

What is your favorite gospel inspired song?

{New Video} Quantic & Alice Russell’s Magdalena

Don’t judge by the money in the jar. It all depends on the person you are…”

“Magadelena,” the single, from Quantic and Alice Russell’s collaborative effort, Look Around The Corner is an upbeat ode to being true to yourself. The visual matches the inspirational tone of the song – full of beautiful and peaceful sceneries.

Quantic & Alice Russell’s ‘I Cry’ (2012 SXSW Performance)

You can’t deny Alice Russell‘s soulful vocal power. Her voice backed by Quantic‘s groovy blend of Reggae/Latin/Cumbia is kind of magical, and their live performance at the 2012 SXSW displays that. Be on the look out for their collaborative album, Look Around The Corner.
